Live By the Sun, Love by the Moon Yoga & Camping Adventure
On this two night yoga & camping adventure into beautiful French Creek State Park, we will be hitting the trails and finding our practice among new terrain by day and sleeping under the stars (and a full moon on Saturday the 14th) along with cooking up tasty treats at the bonfire by night. This retreat is about celebrating our connection to nature, to ourselves and to all those that surround you.
Bring a friend or make some new ones for a full day (Saturday) or for the entire camping retreat. This will be a sweet experience, not to miss. Vegan Toasted marshmallows, Glow stick necklaces and hiking (and howling) under a full moon are all happening and so much more!
This trip will feature NS “Root to Rise” guest teachers sharing the love throughout the weekend with a variety of yoga, meditation and wellness classes offered.
Special note for NS Teachers:
Beyond this being a great time to catch up with fellow teachers and students, we will also be having a 3 hour session on how to teach yoga outdoors and lead retreats on Saturday from 1-4pm (Student campers this will be a siesta time/or yoga frisbee time for you). You can sign up for this teacher workshop through Kristin (email@example.com). Additional Cost for attending this workshop- $65

About the Campsite:
Once an industrial complex for the fledgling United States of America, today French Creek State Park is an oasis for people and wildlife. Straddling the Schuylkill Highlands, the 7,730-acre park is the largest block of contiguous forest between Washington D.C. and New York City. The forests, lakes, wetlands, and fields are a destination for the people of southeast Pennsylvania to hike, fish, camp and bike.
