Every month, Nourishing Storm Yoga Studio embraces a powerful theme for personal exploration and expansion. The Spiraling to Wellness book series captures two years’ worth of themes, presenting them as individual chapters featuring inspiring quotes, stories, exercises, powerful questions, fun food tie-ins, yoga poses, mantras, and so much more!

  • Awareness

    Awareness is always the first step and the ultimate catalyst for change.

    Our lives are made up of many components including relationships, love, work, play, creativity, and spirituality. If we are unbalanced in any of these areas, it will be hard to accomplish our nutrition and general wellness goals.

    Sometimes just being aware and then making it a priority to re-balance is enough. In other cases, we may need to make major and more difficult changes. That is why there are people/tribes to support you along your journey.

  • Movement

    Our body is a temple and to treat it right, we must keep it in motion!

    We are made of energy and that energy determines how we move throughout our lives by way of experiences, emotions and body make-up.

    The best way to move our bodies is to find the right practice and teacher that fit your style and wellness goals—one that lifts you up and pushes you to your edge while teaching you when stillness and rest are necessary as well- it’s always about balance!

  • Nutrition

    Nutrition is key to total wellness! After all, we are what we eat. Become aware of the foods that make you feel well and the ones that do not.

    How do you feel during and after you eat certain foods? Do you feel energized and balanced or sluggish and drained?

    How do we create balanced meals every day, all throughout the day to support our changing bodies? It is essential to be mindful of what we eat, what our food ate, and how that food will ultimately nourish our body and mind.

Meet Author, Kristin Ritter.

Kristin set our on her path in 2002 to find ways to help others heal and find wellness through movement and nutrition. Kristin is a certified AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, Yoga Teacher, Holistic Health Coach, and business coach.

She has a passion for helping clients find their authentic selves by setting goals and action steps that align with their true nature, providing a wealth of knowledge along the way.
