Slow & Steady

A Fall Weekend Retreat

November 8th-10th 2024 | Himalayan Institute.- Honesdale, PA

“Slow down in your pursuit of happiness and it’s more likely to catch up with you.”

- Ernie J Zelinski

A retreat to slow down to find clarity and make more space to live intentionally and with Gratitude

Together, we’ll explore yoga, journaling, walks and talks, creative exercises and projects, nourishing meals, chocolate tastings, smores and so more. You will come away feeling rested, renewed and steady—and have plenty of ideas to integrate into your next season.

THE DETAILS

As the leaves continue to fall from the trees, the earth prepares for a season of rest. It’s a time to slow down and go within (especially before the holidays) and to dig deeper into what we desire in our work, relationships. A time to live with intention and put our time and energy into practices that support our goals for the season ahead.

This retreat offers tools to help us slow down, think clearly,  be present for the here and now, and create a path forward that is rooted in intention and gratitude. The practices shared will focus on creating space:

- Within the body, by incorporating longer-held fall inspired yin postures;

- Within the mind, through therapeutic talks on the practice of slowing down and finding more clarity;

- Within the spirit, with a mala bead project to invoke creativity;

Along with grounding ourselves with nourishing food, mindful walks, gathering around a fire pit, and so much more!

We are limiting the retreat to 25 participants.
