Accept Love: Self-Care Ideas & Contest

When you think of acceptance, do you think of self-love? Do you love and accept yourself, and, in doing so, attend to your needs? This can come in the form of knowing when you reached your max OR when you need to engage a little more in something that calls to you.  In my own life, this takes the form of a daily check-in on how much I am giving, how much I am receiving, how much I am following my heart, how much I am following my to-do list. It’s a delicate dance, but once mastered, even for a day, can bring the most profound sense of love and acceptance for yourself, your world, your life!

Our theme at the Storms for February is ACCEPT and our focus this month is on self-love. 

The Storm team is here to make sure you are taking time for you this month, so please join us in our 7 days of (self) love contest. We decided on 7 days because it is short and sweet. But you don’t have to stop there. Pick one a day for the whole month, the whole year- you deserve it!! 

Contest Details:

  1. “Like” the contest post on Instagram and/or Facebook and comment that you are in!

  2. Then, for each of the 7 days, pick one act of self-love and share on your social media with the hashtag #acceptlove and make sure to tag us @nourishingstorm

  3. Each time you post, you will be entered to win. And, as you share the love, you might just inspire all those around you to do the same.

  1. Take a restorative yoga class

  2. Soak in a bubble bath
