Eucalyptus {Make Space}

“Listen to silence. It has so much to say.” — Rumi

The response "I am so busy" to the question “how are you?” often captures a widespread feeling in our fast-paced lives. It prompts us to consider how we manage our priorities and stay connected to our authentic selves. When our schedules dictate our actions, it can seem like we are merely reacting to external pressures rather than actively shaping our journeys.

Taking just five minutes each day to pause can be a game-changer. During these moments, you can reconnect with both your body and mind, allowing time for reflection on your needs and desires. This practice of intentional listening fosters greater self-awareness, enabling you to make choices aligned with your values. Although it may be difficult at first, these brief interludes can ultimately deepen your understanding of your purpose and improve your capacity to engage meaningfully with the world around you.

This month, we are focusing on cultivating healing spaces, featuring eucalyptus as our signature scent. In various traditions, eucalyptus is associated with purification and healing. It is believed to have protective properties, warding off negative energy and spirits. In some cultures, eucalyptus leaves are placed under pillows to promote restful sleep and keep nightmares at bay.

Regardless of the type of new space you seek—be it within your mind, your schedule, or the environments that nurture your healing and growth—we encourage you to reflect on the following questions:

  • What is your relationship with silence?

  • When was the last time you prioritized being over doing?

  • What new practices are you open to exploring in order to create more space in your life?

  • What do you want to make more room for in your life?
