Favorite Smoothies + Make Your Own!

I have been making smoothies (professionally) for over 10 years as a “Juice Bar Gal” traveling the country teaching the ways of Smoothie making and then in my own Cafe that opened in 2016. I also make smoothies every day after my runs and with my kids. They are so fun, easy and you can customize them to meet your wellness goals. Below are some of my favorites but at the end are some tips to become a smoothie guru and make your own. 

Enjoy and happy blending!!

Orange Delight

  • 8 oz Choice of juice, water or milk

  • 1/3 banana

  • 1 whole carrot (or juiced carrot)

  • ½ cup frozen mango

  • ¼ tsp. Cinnamon

  • 8 oz. ice

Perfect Pina

  • 8 oz Choice of juice, water or milk

  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapples

  • ½ cup frozen mango

  • ⅓ banana

  • ½ tsp. shredded coconut

Green Goddess

  • 8 oz Choice of juice or water

  • ½ cup pineapple

  • ½ cup kale

  • ½ cup fresh spinach

  • ⅓ banana

  • ⅛ lemon (including the rind)

  • ⅛ avocado (no rind)

  • 8 oz. ice

Lotus Love

  • 8 oz Choice of milk

  • 1 Tbsp almond butter

  • 1 cup fresh spinach

  • ⅓ banana

  • 1 pinch cinnamon or cardamom (optional)

  • 16 oz. ice

Purple Seeds

  • 8 oz Choice of juice, water or milk

  • ½ cup frozen berries

  • ⅓ banana

  • 1 cup fresh kale or ½ scoop freeze dried

  • ½ tsp. Chia Seeds

  • 16 oz. ice

Coco-Mint

  • 8 oz Choice of Milk

  • 1 scp Organic Chocolate

  • ¼ tsp. cacao nibs

  • ¼ tsp. mint

  • 16 oz. ice

PB & Greens

  • 8 oz Choice of Milk

  • 1 tsp. Organic Chocolate

  • 1 tbsp. Peanut Butter

  • 1 cup fresh spinach

  • 16 oz. ice

Cocoa Gone Nuts

  • 8 oz Choice of Milk

  • 1 tsp. Organic Chocolate

  • 1 tbsp. Peanut or almond butter

  • ¼ tsp. Unsweetened shredded coconut

  • 16 oz. ice

Make your own

  • Pick a liquid

  • Pick veggies and/or fruit

  • Pick a seed or nut butter

  • Pick a sweetener

  • Add a Protein or supplement

  • Ice it up and blend baby!

Sweeteners:

  • Maple Syrup

  • Agave

  • Honey

  • Cacao Nibs

  • Organic Chocolate

Seeds & Butters:

  • Peanut Butter

  • swiig PB-Lite

  • Almond Butter

  • Oats

  • Raisins

Protein: (we love swiig)

  • Whey Protein- Vanilla or Chocolate

  • Plant Protein-Vanilla or Chocolate

Liquids:

  • Skim Milk

  • Almond Milk

  • Coconut Milk

  • Coconut Water

  • Orange Juice

  • Apple Juice

Fruits:

  • Apple

  • Pear

Notes:

  • Add a protein post-yoga/workout, drop liquid by 2 oz

  • Add a healthy fat to make it a meal

  • Most of all have fun and enjoy every sip!
