What are you SEEKing?

“There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you, and there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.”

- Lemony Snicket, Horseradish

Seeking physical things like a new job, financial success, education, your friend hiding in the bushes, or lost treasure (hey, you never know), is a pretty concrete process with not too many surprises (except for the treasure.) Seeking what is in your heart, providing you can actually name that thing, requires a deeper dive and may be filled with surprises. You can seek one thing or maybe seek the same thing, such as joy, in everything you do. What you find may be exactly – or not at all – what you expected…but it is always worth pursuing.

Powerful Questions:

  • What does it mean to seek something?

  • Can you name what you are seeking? It is physical or emotional?

  • What are some of the reasons/causes for you to seek this? Was it brought on by an event or loss
    or is it a feeling?

– Questions presented by Eileen Seiler, RYT & Writer for Nourishing Storm. Eileen is a writer and teacher at Nourishing Storm. You can catch her Brewing Storm class Fridays at 9:30am and Tuesdays at Breathe at 7:45pm.

We meet at the Nourishing Storm monthly to discuss these questions and the theme as a whole. Join us for our next meeting Sunday, April 3rd at 10 am.
